This World Book Day, EMED Group teamed up with Stoke City FC in the Community to bring some joy to the pupils of Our Lady and St Benedict’s Catholic Academy in Abbey Hulton, Stoke-on-Trent!
With two ambulances, four crew members, and a team leader, we rolled up alongside Stoke’s mascot Pottermus to celebrate the magic of reading and community spirit.
Stoke City FC generously gifted books to all Key Stage 2 pupils, while we brought along 300 chocolate rabbits as an early Easter treat for the children and teachers!
It was a fantastic couple of hours filled with learning, laughter and lots of photos. A huge thank you to Mrs Franklin from Our Lady and St Benedict’s and Alice Faulkner from Stoke City for making this happen!
